Lisa's World Behind Her Lens
Capturing the BEAUTY OF THE MOMENT! Every shot Lisa takes; human, candids, portraits, animals, nature, and sports pictures has a story she enjoys capturing. Her passion for sports and equine come from years of being a former professional athlete. She understands the dedication it takes and her goal with every shot is capturing the intensity, focus, power, speed, strength, & emotions of the athlete. This is what Lisa finds so exhilarating.
At the age of 2, Lisa started ballet classes at a local dance studio. Adding to her ballet classes as she did; jazz, tap, acrobats, gymnastics, and point. At the age of 13 she was given a choice to dance or horses, she kept with the horses as the family was heavily involved with the equine world. As a passion she would pick up photography in the 80’s with a friend. Later taking equine and photography to college life and beyond.
As you can see Lisa has always been active and creative. That led to becoming a natural bodybuilder for 17 years. Her focus was figure, fitness & obstacle course races and 30 plus years as a personal trainer, competition coach, writing published fitness articles/columns, and even ended up fitness modeling.
Now, Lisa travels the country covering dance events and equine events. When she is home she offers many different portrait sessions. She travels to you, rents a local studio or uses her unique mobile studio fully equipped with props, backgrounds & studio lights.
